The following solution has been found for your request:

The only way to be certain about the oil is to speak with your local Audi dealer and have it checked against the VIN.

is the link for ZF oils in passenger cars. If you get an oil part number from your local Audi dealer you can reference it to the list and this will tell you if it is life guard fluid 6 or 8. If it is life guard fluid 8 then you must get the software checked and updated if needed.
So looks like the only choice is to book into Audi.
