Default 2000 W reg facelift A8 3.7 Quattro LPG in Silver with Black leather

Car: 172,000 miles

Gearbox: 72,000 miles

3 keys and MOT until May 2016.

Hi all. I am reluctantly having to part with what is my favourite car ever. I have recently moved to France and there are various issues here for the car including the registration tax (high) and lack of local LPG stations which means it's not viable to keep it. I am in France with the car now but should be returning with it next Sunday (the 4th), I shall be around for about 2 weeks in Devon.

About the car. I have owned it for just over a year, I had intended to keep it for several years hence had the LPG conversion done. I don't recall the brand of the system but it was the best recomended system at the time. It's fitted professionally with an 84L tank in the spare wheel well. It switches quickly and seamlessly over to LPG, so quickly it uses very little petrol, you really can't tell the difference in the way it runs on either fuel.
There are no major faults, the only things that don't work are the NS mirror folding mechanism (adjustment is fine) and the memory buttons for the driver's seat. Everything else works including very cold AC, nav with 2013 maps, CD etc etc.

It has the following fitted, NAV, Sport Steering wheel with gear change controls, dual pane glass, sunroof, black leather, BOSE, front and rear PDC.
It's done 172k with a pretty much FSH, I have lots of big bills from Audi including a new gearbox at around 100k miles at vast expense. I changed the gearbox oil and filter (I own a garage in Devon) when I got the car at 158k miles. In the last year I've also changed the weak CV on the propshaft, fitted a new GPS ariel, fitted new front brake discs and pads (brembo), done a full service, new recent bosch wipers, new bosch crank sensor and other little odds and ends I've since forgotten about!

The interior is in very good order, the exterior has a couple of minor scrapes but it's still very presentable. Photos to follow when I've cleaned it, thanks for reading, 0033 6 60 99 56 86 or 0033 2 97 39 99 76 or 07792 991175 (after Sunday PM).

I'm only after £1995 which is only a little more than the LPG conversion cost. Another little bonus of course being a pre-2001 car the tax is cheaper!
