Default Passion For Power, Event City, Manchester, April 2013

Some pics of last weekend, Three very standard and original unmolested Ur quattros, all owned by Phil Jameson, who organises the annual German Classics Car show at Haigh hall, Wigan. The earliest one in the pic is a 1983 Mars Red WR, then a 1990 ex VAG UK Pearlescent White MB which was also once owned and displayed in David Sutton's Historic Motorsport museum in Daventry. He was the guy behind Audi UK's rallying back in the day. Lastly is a very late 1991 and rare J Plate Titan Grey 20V RR quattro which was one of the last UK cars. He also owns the first UK quattro, which is the Saturn Bronze car featured in the April 1981 issue of CAR Magazine, reg no HYL 4W. He owns 8 Ur quattros in total, all different variations/specs. Quite a comprehensive collection. The vast majority of Ur quattros are now sadly badly maintained/poorly restored, or just old and past their best. The three cars here look and drive every bit as good as they should.
