Yeah - an A8 in Australia is $10k (not sure if any sell at that price though!). Haven't seen a D2 S8 for sale in a while - they usually ask mid to high teens. One sold about 12 months ago for $12k or $13k - bit of an anomaly in the market.
They're rare down here though, and sellers have a hard time judging the market so aim high.

2009 Volvo XC90 V8 R Design - has a louder more obnoxious exhaust than the S8, sounds great! Love this thing - Q7 was double the price, and certainly not double the car!
