Yes. The housing that the plug inserts into is separate to the pins, so the section of PCB that holds both in place must be retained. Then you're into soldering new wires, time, getting a bit bulky....

What I posted earlier works and is only terminal crimping. Downside is that it could be inserted 180° out, but we're all smart folk on here not to do that
