Default In Local News...

Not of any interest probably to any of you but me, but I'm quite pleased anyway.

For the last 5-6 years I've lived in Rugby, to get Shell fuel I've had to drive around 15 miles just to get to the petrol station, so I haven't.

Not only that, here in Rugby, we've never had a 'cheap' supermarket fuel provider, always been 3-4p per litre more than neighbouring towns with an Asda filling station.

So, what's so exciting for me?

Not only have Asda just taken over the filling station opposite their Rugby store and will be opening later this month, which will hopefully bring the Asda low fuel prices to the town, but then yesterday I drove past an old Total station less than 2 miles from me and it was being newly fitted with SHELL signs

With a bit of luck, the Porker will soon be running on cheap(ish) Shell V-Power
