I guess it depends how you define Paris. For example London could be defined as up to the M25, but in reality suburbs of London stretch even further.
Likewise, if you include Paris Urban area, that stretches up to CDG airport.
I was surprised to find out, depending on which suburban areas you count, Paris actually has a bigger population than London!
