I guess 73m in wet is not that bad, according to highway code stopping distance from 60 mph is 73 meters in normal circumstances and could be double that in wet. So it's not that much about Accelera being bad but more about how impressive Michelin and some other tyres are.

But then again Highway Code was probably written 50 years ago, tyres have improved since then but Code was never updated
