Default Toasty warm in the workshop

Hi all,

I think it's probably well known that my workshop is like a big fridge in the winter. I try to wrap up warm, but sometimes its pretty hard to stay motivated when I can't feel my fingers any more!

Imagine my surprise then, when I arrived at Mike's on Saturday to find that a bunch of you lovely people had clubbed together to buy me a space heater!

I put it together on Sunday and gave it a quick test, but today was the first opportunity I got to try it properly and it is very effective.

This is at the front of the workshop so it's about a foot above the main floor which seems to work quite well for warming the air at body height. It took the area around the lift from 7 degrees to a balmy 10 in less than an hour which is quite impressive. There's a noticeable difference between the main part of the workshop and the office side. I need to plug a few holes in the walls and roof to stop the warms escaping now

So, a heart-felt thank you to all those who contributed It really means a lot to me.
