2002 isn't it? No used gearboxes about it seems.
Brave enough for a diy repair? Parts are easily available, and there are a few good write-ups on forums. The hardest part is getting it out and back in. Should be less than £1K to just fix a broken drum rather than doing a full rebuild.
My '99 was the cheapest to maintain & most reliable car I ever had right until the gearbox went pop.
