They fold away themselves, no need for vacuum pump. It's very fascinating to watch it when it deflates
The Allroad has the same size tyres as the D2, so if the 2.2% difference is ok on the Allroad it'll be ok on the D2 as well

I didn't know they were 16" - I'd assumed 17". The larger-engined Allroads have the same HP2 caliper as the D2 A8, but on a 321mm disc (instead of 323mm) so in theory should be just fine. I might fish mine out of the back of the Allroad (the boot of which is currently full of 1/2 an S6 V8) and see if it fits one of the D2s
