This inability to turn the wheel far enough to get straight in parking space, also includes, for instance, cutting across the opposite lane when turning right (how often have you been approaching a junction to find someone cutting the corner and have to pull up several metres short of the white lines to avoid having your front bumper taken off). It often seems to be the case that its a women using the praying mantis position (of driving, that is) - both hands clamped onto the top of the wheel and their face about 20cm from their hands. They phyisically cant turn the wheel any further as they wont let go of it.
