All LHD cars sold here in the UK are far more expensive than their RHD equivalents. There are several dealers specialising in LHD only, so clearly there is a market. The comparison is how much would it cost to import similar LHD car - not how much equivalent RHD car costs here. Right now there are several D3 S8s advertised in Germany for over €20k (
www.mobile.de), none of which are below 50k km, then add the importing costs / dealers profit and there you are. LHD cars on the continent hold their value better than RHD cars here, presumably because there is a much larger market to sell the old ones to, including selling to different countries. RHD cars are sort of stuck here until they are scrapped
