Something I think worth mentioning ...

There are very few filling stations on the route.

We'll pass filling stations in Buxton and Bakewell but it would be preferable (in order to keep the convoy together) if everyone has enough fuel for the entire tour, which is approximately 120 miles. If you need to fill up the night before, there is a Morrisons filling station near the Durker Roods in the centre of Meltham. Or if (like me) you prefer the Shell stuff, the nearest Shell filling stations appear to be around Huddersfield (about 5 miles away).




Also, while David at A8 Parts has generously offered to subsidise and pay for the venues in advance (again), we need to collect contributions from everyone to partially reimburse David. So please bring cash to cover this.

Since not everyone will be attending every venue, it would be unfair to ask everyone for the same amount so the requested contributions are as follows:

All venues (Saturday and Sunday) - Adults £20, Children £15
Saturday venues only (no garage tour) - Adults £15, Children £10
Saturday and Sunday, no Treak Cavern tour - Adults £15, Children £10
Saturday only, no Treak Cavern tour - Adults £10, Children £5

Please note: The cost of any food and drink is additional and should be paid directly to the relevant venues.

Durker Roods Hotel - Evening Meal - £20 per head
