I would not be too worried about pressure being in shocks. It's just nitrogen filled from factory to stop oxidation and foaming of oil when going on rough terrain. Even if nitrogen has escaped shocks will be 95% most of the times so unless there are any signs of oil leakage from shocks they are probably fine. I do have a spare pair of genuine Audi unused front sport shocks for D2. I think they were discontinued around 2012 and not so sure how much aftermarket has to offer so good luck finding some

There are some cheap shocks available on e-bay, more tha 50% more then when I bought them but still a lot cheaper than £150/piece when they were last available from audi. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-x-Audi-...EAAOSwiIxZ-K~c
