I really need a new oil filter housing for a 4.2 mpi engine this is due to a rattle on start up (not the usual rattle) but I noticed when I did oil and filter last that the ball valve thingy on the end of the oil filter stalk was missing. I managed to get it all out of the housing but it was a little spring and plastic mushroom cap that prevents the oil returning to the sump like a 1 way pressure valve.
I really need to replace this ASAP and am calling out for all help I can get I have scoured the net with no luck and with the engine coming out soon for the exhaust gaskets and starter motor I'd rather it all get done at the same time .
Any ideas ?
