It is easy to remove the door panel.
I removed the two philips screws with washers along with the 8 mm bolt. Then the door switch panel was removed. Two small philips screws up in each top corner of the door.
Then 3 larger philips screws under the plastic trim.
I did break one plastic plug though, taking the whole panel loose.
Last part was to release the wire going to the door handle inside.
