I did think about getting it reproduced locally by a small engineering firm but I am sure that the one off cost would have been higher.
You guys in Oz dont have worry so much about salt/rain corrosion. (I was in Perth a few months back and replaced the wheel bearings on my son-in-laws Holden Commodore VT - the suspension components had no rust/corrosion whatsoever!)
