Worked this one out now, looks like one section has started to pull out the other near the centre.
The sleeve and clamp that was holding it clearly is failing hence the sound.
Nothing blown or broken just two sections slipping apart.
Anyway, I will put all back in I just wanted to know does anyone know the pipe diameter of a standard FL S8 exhaust pipe so I can order a new clamp?
