Evening All.
Home safe by 20:00, Jordan fell asleep as we climbed towards The Cat & Fiddle.
I have to admit the return drive was a little awkward with the rain and my rather damp eyes. I'm still shaking with the shock. Of course if you did not attend you will not know of which I am drivelling about.
We had a fair old crowd for what was supposed to be a North West Mini Meet, usually three or four cars. Biggin Hall did us proud but that is not unexpected, really good find Mark.
What I didn't know until after I'd arrived that I had been gang upped on. People had decided that they wanted to celebrate my 80th in grand style. I was oblivious of the machinating going on behind my back, messages contacting my family to make sure that I attended.
Oh bugger it, let's be frank,
It was the biggest surprise of my life, took my breath away, gave me palpitations, I'll never be the same again.
I even landed up with a ride in the fastest shed!!!
I thank you all, for the surprise, the prezzies, your attendance, your thoughts and the Birthday Cake. Now that was a cake. I've promised the engine section to the beautiful MJ. That is I ever manage to cut into it.
Words fail me.
There must be a way to make photos stand up!!!!
