I was fixated on those trunk light wires, I realized that my antenna was cut in half. Once, there was apparently some work done on the car and the trunk was removed... and wiring cut and then spliced. They treated the antenna as just another wire, neatly wrapped in heat shrink... but only the shielding was spliced. Thanks for breaking my trance, thinking those silly trunk-light wires were the cause of my issue, after all (as pointed out) my fault code had to do with the antenna
