You were spot on with your first post on this thread.
I just thought/hoped that the bulb would separate from the holder, but typical Prussian design (they stick lots of words together to make one big word) they do not come apart.
Bulb welded into the holder, honestly, wtf?
Oh well, much further thinking to be done.
Do you know if the reverse light is monitored for bulb failure? I meant to try whilst I had it all open this morning but with frozen fingers I forgot that part of the job
