I changed this pump today, took just under an hour but we were eating cream cakes and having a brew at the same time.
We did not remove the plenum chamber cover completely. Left it in the windscreen seal, just lifted it at the front and supported it with a wooden block.
It was a bit fiddly but this vehicle is an Audi, vorsprung mit bits that are not really needed.
My symptoms were no hot air in the cabin and the coolant pump interior fault on VCDS.
Price for pump is now £129 but my ever friendly spares man knocked ten quid off.
