Hi Doug,

Most resister systems for HID are designed to emulate the resistance of a Halogen Globe and the kits are readily available
I don't understand how the bulb warning operates with the factory HID system and how to simulate it with another non-OEM HID system.

However, what was wrong with your existing HID setup?
Did it fail to light or flicker once it did?

There's only 3 parts to the system and they're generally pretty robust.
The parts shouldn't be that hard to get. I would have thought the forum sponsors could have helped you out with various components.
The igniters are also the same as a number of cars from that era such as Range Rovers. I found mine on DH Gate or somewhere when the igniter blew. A couple of years back.
