Cracking project car - so take it you got it for less than £5k then....
If so, even with all the work required, seems reasonable to me!.
Remember, its a rebodied Golf MK4 if I am not mistaken, but lighter and more aerodynamic, so performance will be good
Wife used to like these so will see what she makes of this project - would like her to have one, but not passed her test yet so not sure what the insurance would be like
