So let me get this straight...
Audi design a needlessly complicated fuel pump system for their flash aluminium car, then 15 years after they stop making it, right in the midst of when all the 15-20 year old fuel pumps are failing, they stop supplying the unique gasket needed to seal the needlessly complicated pump to its housing. Leaving the proud 2nd, 3rd etc owners of the lovely flash aluminium car in the lurch...
That sound about right?
Most of those suppliers are probably providing a genuine part too. Not sure if I've seen the metal rubber gasket as an after market item... I wonder if I kept my old one?!
