Default Very odd tyre wear

My D3 had an advisory for both front tyres being worn on the inside.

This evening i decided to check it out, and the wear is very odd which I'll describe for now as its too dark to get a good picture.

The inside edge on both the fronts have what feels like a step, I could guess alignment issue but this step does not go all the way around. Some places are more pronounced than others.

Car has just been MOT'd and no issues were found with the bushes, and there are no clonks and bangs at all as you drive.

The attached image is from the internet, is kind of like what I have but it does not go all the way around. Image from wheelsinmotion forum.

I must point out that I did have the OSF front wheel straightened out after I was made aware it was out of round, but this was some time ago. There is no vibration through the steering when driving. Really don't know, I need new tyres but I don't want the same to happen again so want thoughts first.
