I want to achieve re-paintable solution, which means all parts can be disassembled to basic components made of one material. It is impossible to achieve this with facelift design.

If you look at first e-bay link closely each component is just a simple plastic part. There are no seams involved with change of material. For example, 4 'cups' for your hand are not made of two separate materials. They are just one piece of plastic. Same with from part where the switches are. Just a. plain simple piece of plastic. No top and bottom involved.

This thing looks more basic, but it is paintable, so it will last forever if repainted from time to time. Makes sense?
