Good for you Stew. That's like saying you should learn to live by candlelight encase one day your electrics pack up. 
If I wanted to 'learn how to drive' i'd buy a proper drivers car like an M3 CSL, not an unbalanced four wheel drive automatic large Audi saloon. I brought it for it's toys and wanted to share one of my favourites which I find really useful, that is all.
