Thats about the only use I have for the Tip buttons. They also can be used when in "D" as well - if you ever care to be in D rather than S! The interval for reverting to D seems to be much less than a minute tho'.
I am not sure that this re-learning issue isnt a thread about nothing though. Yes, the resetting may well be achieved by the methods described but why bother as it then learns again (and within a few minutes accoriding to IT and MJ) your style of driving on that journey. I'm with MJ on this - if you want some fun stick it in S and if driving Miss Daisy keep it in D. It will soon decide the change points etc for you. Thats why its called DYNAMIC shift programme.
