Just an update Re my EPB issues ...
The garage did a VCDS diagnosis ...
It came up with lots of faults that were cleared apart from 2,which were the EPB (of course) and the main control unit that he couldn't get to the bottom of.... He wanted to put it on an older Audi diagnostic check to delve deeper into the control unit issue when they have the car back in on the 25th to sort the parking brake out,they said it might not need a new caliper which would be good news...apparently he thought all the fault codes were due to the OEM phone equipment which is no longer used but hadn't been shut down on the computer.
