My D2 and D3s used to go past zero quite happily for a bit. I think I managed 87 litres into the D2 at one point.
The A7 on the other hand is considerably more accurate.. When it tells you to fill up, you need to start thinking about it. 65 litre tank takes 62 litres when reading zero, not much wiggle room at all, and with the digital dash, you only get readings in 1/8th tank increments, probably why the DIS is so much more accurate.
