Yeah the Contis are bizarre. For each of the tyres I measured the width of the concrete dust which is picked up when the car rolls in to the workshop. The Contis have about another 10mm of worn rubber on the inner and outer shoulder of the tyre, but it obviously only uses this cornering since there's no dust on it. The Goodyears and Vredesteins have dust right across the worn rubber area. The Contis would be more suited to an 8" rim tbh.
