Yeah, I am hoping that its just a battery, but I have been aware that air suspension does cause hassles like this, I went out this morning and disconnected the CTEK as its fully charged the battery, so have put the car in LIFT mode to see what happens as it will visibly be easier to tell later if the car has dropped.
Interestingly, when I first turned her on the words SAFE came up in the binnacle where you trip distance would usually be, and a loud clicking with a light flicker inside the glovebox
I turned her off, then on again, and both had gone and the car seemed normal once more.
Hopefully the new battery and VCDS will be here before the light dies away and I can swap them over
