If you're going that far, might as well drop the unside, clean and reseal. haha
I've removed a set from a breaker and I don't recall it needing to drop the subframe.
As the mounting faces was flatish, all you have to do was remove the bolts, support the engine and lift a little, slide the mounts out and replace.
relatively easy job.
I had the sub frame drops, front or rears.
Trying to align them so they are correct is a bitch!!
