It has been 40 years since I was in the area so looked it up on the useless tinternet. Little Chefs are closing pretty quickly and SWMBO is angry. It was on Burford Road, just of the A417. The address on the Little Chef web page was wrong. We had been to Birdlip, the boss had never been there, then via the A417 towards Swindon. Turned right towards Cirencester on the A429, garage on left.
Now with your advise I have found the correct location. Same junction, turn left away from Cirencester and at the first exit there is travelodge and Little Chef.
SWMBO has just beaten me up and said that I am a Banker. I should of gone into the garage and asked.
In future I will ask on THIS forum before I leave the house
