New moulded grilles from Tradition are a bargain compared to printed ones. I couldn't get anywhere near that quality for that price, and even if lesser quality was acceptable the amount of investment needed to design and make them is prohibitive. They would need a £1-2K printer (minimum) to be able to make them, and hundreds of CAD hours to get a printable design, even from a scan. I'd be surprised if they came out at <£100 each.
While they are still available from Tradition, 3d printed grilles aren't going to happen
The bridge is very cool
I've been watching mig-welder 'printing' for a while as that is pretty much the metal version of our desktop plastic printers. Its great to see a real application of it using the organic shapes it's capable of.
