I would still be changing every year doing 3-4k miles on S8 and 10-15k in A6.

He also sells Quantum Platinum 5W40 @ £20 for 5l and Quantum Synta 10W40 @ £12.99 for 5l without multiple purchase discount. I could use any of them as they all meet the specifications required but i might do more then 10k in a year on A6 so it makes sense to choose Longlife and keep the same in both cars so that I only need to keep one for topping up and Longlife oil should be better in theory if it can last longer.

Quantum trademark is owned by VW and oils are made by Castrol for VW so should be pretty same as Castrol retail oils and they are used by dealers so You know You are putting in oil that manufacturers intended to use.

5x5 liter for Longlife 5W30 comes out £112.5 which is £4.5 a liter.
4x 4 liter of equivalent Castrol Edge 5W30 is 156.2 before shipping from Opie Oils - £9.76 a liter. That's more then twice the difference.

I just wanted to check if anybody knows a better deal then this.
