It was certainly 'one for the books', they actually let me go on my way with just a b*ll*cking - quite a result!
This was back in the days before safe..... no, speed (revenue) cameras & Tallyvans were in common usage, and when police were still allowed to use their discretion before legislation took over...
Probably before one or two of the forum members were driving..... circa 1990
So once again I'll publicly thank those 2 Kent trafpol officers for being absolute gentlemen on that ocasion
