I think I'd probably do the same. They never factor-in labour and they usually make very little profit so the cars are usually an absolute bargain at the asking price, especially given the added value and provenance the cars gain by being on the show.
You could be cheeky and contact his business,
Mike Brewer Motors and ask if they could let him know that there's a 'Ronin Green' Audi S8 he might be interested in for the show (there's a live chat on the website too). Alternatively, it might be possible to drop him a message on Facebook/Twitter. Personally I think the timing is perfect for Wheeler Dealers to do a D2 S8 and yours is just the right colour and condition too.
