Sound advice there re: whiplash injury.
We were driven into head-on whilst stopped and though I was good Gwen suffered for the rest of her life with her neck and spine. Seems that all you can do is grin and bear the pain days.
Unfortunately Gwen also suffered psychologically and received treatment for that as well as the physical problems. She became the world's worst passenger, all our cars had a depression in the passenger footwell from here brake applications. It took nearly a year before she could drive again.
