Under the sill trims. If you lift the back seat base out you can run from the battery tray tucked under the boot side trim then through the sheet metal in the bottom corner - there's a piece of foam covering the other cables. If you pop the door sill trims off front and back you can tuck the cable in beside the carpet.
Its been a while since I had that area apart on a D2 but from memory I think you can use a pull-through at the base of the B-pillar to get the cable through there without having to remove the B-pillar trim. A piece of stiff wire usually works.
