I had a few of these fan meshes in stock that I use on my GPU rigs to act as a fan guard and to reduce dust intake. Thought I'd try one on the L3+ to help protect it from dust and any larger foreign particles ...

I removed the 4 rear fan screws and placed it between the fan and the metal fan guard.
I was concerned it might restrict airflow and affect cooling but there's no noticeable temperature change and the fans don't appear to be running any faster. In fact it seems to have had a positive affect on the fan acoustics, making it run a little quieter.
