update
ok,
ive removed the dust covers behind the rear discs and found a metal bracket is corroding that holds a loom plug to caliper etc..
so ive removed that , treated with rust killer and 2 coats hammerite..
its surprising how most metal parts rust on these cars a little dissapointing as a bit more thought from audi would have prevented this..
