You cannot clone a key, well theoretically you could but it has fixed ID and variable code which changes every time it's used. So if you used new cloned key the variable code would change on the cloned key when you use it but would stay the same on old key so old key would not work. You need to pair each key individually. It's possible to pair old key but I think you need the immo box or dash from the donor car as well. Easier to get a new ID44 immobilizer chip and change it donor key, then program as new key.

This is for coding the key to start the engine, remote control part to lock unlock doors you can pair yourself.
