Hi Everyone
I have a laptop uploaded with the latest VCDS version and I am using a KEY-USB cable.
I can connect to the car and monitor basic engine functions but I can’t perform anything else.

Specifically I would like to reset the Service Indicator and more importantly reset the memory codes to 0000 to be able to delete two previous user settings for the fingerprint control function.

I am not sure if the cable doesn’t enable full functionality and I therefore need another cable or if there are gremlins in my car that are preventing VCDS working.

Any suggestions would help. I cannot reset setting using the MMI as an error is signalled despite being able to have changed the code.
