My old A8 (1999) was sadly missing the telephone but my A8L (2000) has the telephone and slip-slide cradle jobby. I'm sure it's a slim battery and original too as it's date stamped.

link going for 250 euros! Yikes.
I have no need for it as my car telephone (Galaxy S3) now sits in a Brodit holder on a £5 a month contract. The original Audi/Nokia 3110 with red LEDs in my car is 'only dual band so I was forced to use either Voodoofone or O2 and my £10 credit always got swallowed up due to non-use (if I can summon up the enthusiasm, I'll go down to the car park and grab a photo of it)
