Default over fueling

Hi Chaps, can anyone tell me what the main cause of over fueling is .
I get a strong smell of fuel after a journey.
Would it be the lambda sensors playing up.

Have you checked for no leaks around the fuel filter ends first?

Have you scanned for error codes?

I would be surprised if it was overfueling by the amount big enough to have petrol smell after driving. I would say it is either leaking fuel somewhere or it is not burnt because of misfires.

Was the smell there before servicing? I would not be first time that leaks occur after changing something.
