Wanted - lower front OS bumper grille insert, D2 FL S8
My S8 is "missing" this grille insert on the passenger side, lower front bumper - either it fell off while driving or some nasty little oik decided to whip it off
 Either way, its just a bit of plastic but it looks rubbish without it and a quick look on forum sponsors A8 Parts showed one for £93.25  which seemed rather a lot for said bit of plastic so I thought I would ask and see if anyone had spare bits from their D2 after selling / upgrading

Rare as rocking-horse poo so everyone knows what they sell for.

2003 D2 FL S8. Irish Green Pearl/Beige. Solar sunroof, auto-dim mirrors, electric rear seat functions, ski hatch retrofit; extended leather. Aftermarket DVB-T, reversing camera and full XCarlink (Bluetooth etc.). 2016 Volvo V40 T5 Cross Country (4WD) with ALL the toys including adaptive cruise etc. etc. Osmium Grey with Blonde/Charcoal leather interior. Polestar performance "optimisation".  (A much rarer model than a D2 S8 by the way!) Oh, and a brand new engine at just under 30,000 miles on the factory one!  Finally: gone, but not forgotten..... 1998 D2 PF S8. AgateGrey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors. e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course.  (internal dimming mirror added later)1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon, Auto-dim mirror, Leather, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer. And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

I think that price from A8 parts is for a brand new Audi grille actually so apart from searching ebay worldwide for the relevant part number and getting lucky it's a bite the bullet job, or come up with a custom made alternative!

New from dealer £80 and a used one £93.25.....hmmm, note to self, check dealer prices first!
Does anyone have the part number easily to hand? I guess anything under £93.25 is a bonus!  Every other Audi model in creation seems to have them available for under £20. At this rate a few bits of plastic plus the wiper motor I bought and the linkage, will almost equal the cost of a whole donor A/S8!

There are 2 possible versions, 2 piece up to 06/2000 and one piece after 06/2000. Dealer price is £48.06 for earlier version + £20.04 for small cover over fog light and £72.36 for the later version.
