The Macc Lads had a Vauxhall Viva with a Vinyl roof...

Goodness.
This GLS is actually a down graded Magnum.
All the trim level of the Magnum but with a quite poor 1256cc engine.

In its day quite a rare car really.

Today?
Cool?

I don't think it cuts it really.
Think it was only a body update on the previous Viva Mk2.

Cheers.

I had one for about five minutes early 80's, and it didn't even register with me until I saw this one, easily forgettable. Only feature was you could drive along and pull the gear lever out. Not cool then, not cool now.

suppose the test would be if you have said to yourself "I really wanted a viva back when". if you didn't, that answers that.
